Satyrdagg

 A 10+ member “Alchemical Jazz Rock Opera”, ensemble, Satyrdagg’s music sources inspiration from Funk, Latin Jazz, Americana, Lieder, and the musics of Brazil, the Caribbean, North Africa, West Africa, Turkey, and India. Often tightly composed, often exuberantly improvised. Centered around a core rhythm section (Bass, Drums, Keys, Guitar, and often percussion), this band tacks on 3+ vocalists and 3+ horns to deliver a massive sound, sure to transport you through these songs about transformation, romance, and the resilience of love and creativity.

STATTIC

Stattic is a hip-hop/funk/groove band from Willimantic. Made up of drums, horns, and upright/electric bass, Stattic grooves and improvises over current and classic hip-hop and funk. The band often features local rapper Joey $oprano, whose thoughtful, original verses take the sound to another level.
